Gorgeous plateaus, numerous peaks, gorges and deep valleys with their unique wild beauty form the versatile terrain of Parnonas. The area is also full of many other natural beauties such as waterfalls, caves, precipices, rivers, springs and streams. Its great biodiversity is the reason why it has been included as a protected area in the European Natura Program.
