Sie liegt inmitten von Zypressen, Platanen und Tannen. Laut der Legende wurde das Bildnis der Jungfrau Maria auf wundersame Weise hoch oben in einem Baum gefunden. Das Kloster wurde im 10. Jahrhundert um den heiligen Baum erbaut. Es gibt auf der linken Seite der Kirche einen bedeckten Wasserlauf mit geweihtem Wasser. Das Kloster hatte enge Verbindungen mit Russland und darum kann man nun zwei wundervolle Bildnisse von Russischem Handwerk bewundern. Das Kloster feiert jeden 15.
