Fortunately, plenty of buildings have been preserved over time. Nowadays three of the most glorious and magnificent pre-revolutionary Peloponnesian monuments are located in Leonidion. They give visitor a first impression of the Tsakonian architecture. Leonidion gained the status of a traditional settlement, which allowed and allows it to preserve the traditional character of its architecture.
